Antelope Island

My friends Josh and Jordan and I went on a 36-mile bike ride this morning on Antelope Island. We took the mountain view trail which goes along the east side of the island, facing the Wasatch Mountain Range. It took us a total of 4 hours to complete the trip!

Caty - One of my favorite things about your photography is how natural it all is. So many photographers muck up the photos by airbrushing the subjects or making them glow or over-saturating everything. Instead, you totally enhance what is already there and make it that much more beautiful.

One of my top picks is the 18th photo down where you captured David and Rebecca’s silhouettes from below. Mysterious and lovely shadows. Another is the one where they are standing in front of the huge red building. I really like the distance you put between yourself and them. No one *ever* does that; very unique. You can see their relationship without being up in their faces.

The photo of them stretching in front of the van is cheeky. I love it. And the one right above it is so classy (The graininess tops it off, too).

And the last one of her expression at the camera is beautiful. I have a thing for photos where only one of the subjects is looking into the camera because it appears half-candid, you get the best of both worlds.

Just to point out a few… ;) July 12, 2011 – 10:11 pm

Kiki - These are great Tim! I love the one of the couple on the stairs (shadow-like) as well as the pair lying on the street the best. Your photography inspires me. I want to learn how to get that grainy, gray-ish, natural tone you are master at. Always a fan!July 15, 2011 – 3:22 am
